Killuniag Farmhouse

Killunaig is a traditional stone farmhouse built in the mid 19th Century which has been recently modernised to a high standard. It has spectacular views over Killunaig Reef with its resident population of seals, across Loch Scriden to Ben More, the island’s highest mountain and only Munro.

The walled garden to the front of the property has a large lawn with pretty herbaceous borders. It is an ideal garden for children and dogs to run off steam. A garden bench and table are provided for outside dinning or just chilling out. At the rear of the property is an enclosed gravelled court yard.

The accommodation upstairs consists of: one king size double bedroom with en suite bathroom and electric shower over the bath; two twin bedded rooms and main bathroom with electric shower over bath. Downstairs there is a lounge with open fire, a kitchen/dinning room, cloak room and a porch which can be used as a drying room.

The kitchen has a large electric oven, ceramic hob, auto washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, large fridge freezer and microwave. Heating throughout the property is electric which is included in the price as are logs.

There is no TV reception at Killunaig, but colour television, DVD and video are provided as well as a large video library. There is a CD/radio and a payphone which can receive incoming calls. Also free wifi.

Bed linen is provided. A Z-bed, cot and high chair are available on request.

The Estate welcomes one well behaved dog only, we also have kennels if required.

There is a small unlicensed shop with post office at the Kinloch Hotel just as you enter Pennyghael. Killunaig Farmhouse is 3.5 miles from the Kinloch Hotel.
